Lisa, we use teabags when we get styes. You can pop them back into the hot
water and use them a number of times before they start to disintegrate.
Haven't heard of a boiled egg before.
Gerard.

Subject: paleo medicine - Stye

It is irrelevant whether the redness and bump are on the upper or lower l=
id.
There are about 32 meibomian glands that run vertically through the uppe=
r
and lower eyelids. Each gland opens at the lid margin near the lashes. =
The
"stye" can form on either upper or lower lid; the treatment is the same. =

97% of the time, if hot compresses are applied soon after symptoms are
noticed, it will clear up in 12-48 hours with no medical intervention. =

Glad to hear yours is falling in the 97%!
Lisa
