Sorry if this is old news, but I recently stumbled across an online  
library which offers a lot of old and out-of-print books on health,  
nutrition, self-sufficiency, and other topics.  It's at  
http://www.soilandhealth.org.  There's a "Health and Longevity" library  
which has a lot of material readers of this list might find relevant.
