Normally, I take a back seat on many topics on this site. However, it is
important to offer the knowledge that funds flows are not a one way street.
Many US firms that "invest" in other countries also remit out of those
countries in the form of royalties, profit repatriation etc. If you look at
the US balance of trade, there is a category called "transfer  payments
etc". This is  the nature of economics.

Has anyone ever considered what it does to the economy of the country the
money is earned in to have billions siphoned out of it, year after year, in
a one-way direction? If those countries receiving remittances are also
receiving foreign aid from the source countries of the remittances, then the
taxpayers of those countries are paying twice...and taking a hit in the
economy, too. Just something to think about when complaining about economic
realities...and placing blame.
