I have a severe case of osteoporosis and have been advised to take Boniva, 150 mg, once a month.  Does anyone know if it is gluten free?  Also, have you used the medication and were there side effects.  I have read terrible things about the medication and am very concerned how it would affect a celiac even if it is gluten free since our stomachs seem to be so touchy.

Any information would be greatly appreciated.
