Hello All,

I have written several times about my 3 1/2 year old son , Ryan. He was
diagnosed with celiac disease 2 years ago and has been on a gluten free diet
ever since. He jsut had a platelet aggregation test this week and he has a
platlet function defect.
He has been followed by the hematologist the last few months and his blood
work- including platlets has been normal. Buth e has had lots of bruising
so we did this test.

Other symptoms he has had for a year now are:
legs being tired- he says they are tired and wants me to carry him
   feet hurt
   hungry all the time
   slightly bloated belly
VERY moody and emotional and cries easily

He has gained 1 pound in the last 3 months and is in the 75th percentile for
weight and height.

He was anemic but his levels are normal now. He has had a chest and ab CT,
and lupus blood tests were negative and he was negative for leukemia (bone
aspiration test) and he is being followed by a hematologist, GI doc and we
saw a rheumatologist who cleared us.

I just know something else is going on. I hate to run further unnecessary
tests on ryan but I jsut want him to be happy again.

thanks,
suzanne
