Ginny,

I understand your chagrin now though you haven't discerned the cause yet. I
may be able to help here:

"You know, my "dislike" for Hillary, well, to be honest, I can't say exactly
why, really, perhaps it's the leftovers of my Republican leanings from back
in the 1990's, my political viess have really changed in the last few years."
Ginny.

Very well. That's easy. You admit you have some residual Republican leaning
but that you have changed in the last few years. Consider then that were
there to be any residual Republican fervor left in you, John Edwards, OBAMA, and
Hillary are equally abhorent. So that would not explain the durable ire
CLinton would disproportionately receive from you. I think then you do not dislike
Clinton any more than OBAMA and or John Edwards. It is just the
disproportionate scorn in language that gives that mirage. I am pleased.

"She's very articulate, very intelligent, and she makes a great candidate."
Ginny.

This is grand of you Ginny. I am pleased with you.

"I can't really put my finger on why I don't like her, really, and perhaps
that's not really a good thing." Ginny.

No you don't really dislike her anymore than you might dislike the other
democratic contestants to the extent you have residual Republican fervor. And
since you have made great strides to change over the years, I would not
accentuate degree of dislike anymore. Rather, I would make my language more benign.
I know you're capable of that because I have read you for quite a long time.
Your inability to discern the colour of your dislike is not a good thing. I
pray the shortcoming does not transfer to other life matter unrelated to
Hillary.

"And it not that I don't like her so much, I just like other candidates in
the race better." Ginny.

Yes indeed. Nothing wrong with accentuating the positives of other
candidates you like more. The distress comes in when you effort to market your disdain
for Hillary, a candidate you are not even sure you dislike. You see!

"As I've said before, she just come across as too calculating to me," Ginny.

Fair enough Ginny. You must find solace in the fact that all the candidates,
including Republican candidates, are prolific calculators in one way or the
other. It is calculations and solutions in electioneering that gives the edge
to equally impressive contestants or contestants vying for the same prize.
They all have campaign management staff after all.

"and as an American Muslim voter, there are many issues I have to consider
when I do vote," Ginny.

I'm quite sure, much like American CHristians, Mormons, Adventists,
Scientologists, etcetera. I am pleased you have a myriad considerations prior to
voting.

"and I'm just not sure that when the chips are down, that she'd be any less
likely to trample on my rights, detain people, and engage in Bush-esque
tactics as Bush is!" Ginny.

Are any of the other candidates less likely to do any of the above when the
chips are down?? I take it the chips have not been down yet that is why you
reserve adoration for Hillary. Statistics show that the male species is more
prone to war and violence than the female species. You also have an idea who
Hillary is from the little time she spent as First American Lady. She was
trying to accrue universal health care and healthcare for children then. Not
war-warring.

"So there I said it lol." Ginny.

I hope this means you're just engaged in banter and gaucherie then and not
ominous disdain of Hillary. I encourage you to consider more proper outlet for
the residual Republican fervor were it to find its way to the surface of you
 again.

Haruna. Your bestest brother. I forgive you and I love you again. MJQDT.
Darbo. Al Khairawan.

Ginny
