I will set up an appointment with my doc in a couple weeks, but she called me today to let me know that my blood test came back and my TSH is still up around 5.8 or so. Also, the thyroid antibodies test came out quite positive. She is recommending a conservative treatment, and at this point it seems the only reasonable option.
I would sure appreciate any advice anyone might have who has been in this situation or has observed others in this situation. This list has been quite helpful for me to understand my situation, and hopefully at some point in the future I will be able to help others as well.
Thanks to all -- dave
Lab work only contributes about 5% of the information needed to Diagnose
Thyroid Status. The History (What has been happening to the patient before they
came to the office?) is about 85% of that information, and a good Examination
is about 10%. <<<<
