Thank you for all the input. I asked my endo point-blank, if I start
replacement, What will be my target TSH? his answer was 0.8 ... and so
that helped me decide to try it, to see how I feel, since my bloodlevels
have been coming in, using the same scale, at around 3.4 to 3.6 lately.
I think my tsh has been above 2.6 for the past eight years! Free T4 has
been in the normal range, and that may not be the largest issue, but
rather, the fact that my pituitary is constantly whipping the thyroid to
produce more, more, more. So perhaps, as we move this replacement
along, my pituitary can have a well-deserved rest.
