I went to the doctor in 1989 because I was so fatigued and fell asleep so
easy I wondered about narcolepsy, and my chest hurt. But labs were normal I
was told no thyroid problem and narcolepsy was unlikley.
In 1994 I developed plantar fascitis.
At the beginning of 1997 I was diagnosed with hypothyhroidism with elevated
TSH. In August of 1997 when Synthroid had no effect I switched to Armour.
By December my plantar fasciis was gone. My podiatrist said if it went away
on Armour it had been thyroid neuropathy, a well known hypothyroid problem.
The narcoleptic type fatigue and the chest pain eventually went away too.
