Hello all-
I would like some feedback on those of you who have both Celiac disease
and Interstitial Cystitis. I recently have really had increased symptoms
of the IC part-lots of back pain, pelvic pressure, increased urination.
Has anyone tried Elmiron or Cystoprotek with good results? My doctor
said that I should have the cystoscopy with hydrodistention again as it
gave me good relief for over a year, but I would like to put it off if I
can. I recently discovered that my B vitamin complex and soy milk may
be why I am feeling worse. I feel a lot better just after stopping these
in the past 3 days. But I find it difficult to get the B vitamins out of
the GF diet and I am lactose intolerant with minimal improvement with
Lactaid. I'd like to know what has worked well to keep the IC symptoms
to a minimum. I follow the diet as best I can given the GF diet also. I
mostly watch tomatoes, citrus, alcohol, caffeine, chocolate, soda.
Thanks,
Michelle
