Dear Demba,
In the noteimmediately below, I had shared with you some consternation
attaching onerous disposition on your and Gainako's part. I encouraged you to
advise us if you were indeed in error in both instances and if not to share with
us Haruna's note prior that indicated to you that your crimes were Plagiarism.
You have been silent. I do not want to take your silence as an expression of
error, shame, or fear, for those in themselves cannot accrue any value to
our friends here at Ellen and elsewhere and they cannot make ammends for the
crimes I have alleged you committed against Haruna and The GDP. Further, our
friends here have urged me to yield on my refutation of Yero's allegations
against my person. I had almost completed that and I have yielded barring Yero's
resuscitation to issue libelous allegations against my person. However, the
matter of your and Gainako's crimes against Haruna and The GDP have not been
clearly identified to yield future caution for you and Gainako. And our
friends here at Ellen and elsewhere stand to gain a lot from such discernment.
Your and Gainako's crimes against Haruna and The Global Democracy Project are
significant and onerous and could likely be repeated if you are not aware of
them.
I will therefore give you another opportunity to share with us:
Whether you were in error in the two instances below, and if so make ammends
and apologise to me and The GDP in order that I may not read other intent
into the errors. OR, share with us the culprit note where Haruna alleged your
crimes to be plagiarism so I can discern where your error in comprehension
issues. Toward your honourable demarche, I share with you that:
Plagiarism is Theft of Intellectual Property, but NOT all Theft of
Intellectual Property is Plagiarism.
The reason I shared this with you Demba my friend, is because I believe your
confusion issues from the statement I shared with Yero during my refutations
of his allegations that ended in EUREKA!
You see Demba, In this world, When you err and or averse your fellow human
being, you must show integrity by owning up to such aversion and if it is in
error, acknowledge such and apologise to make ammends. That makes for
harmonious life and demonstrates benign intent in crimes against others. I will yield
again here until you share with us your ideas and dispositions.
Thank you Demba and I promise not to use profanity in any of our exchanges
in these adhoc discernments.

forgive me for the tarry. I had exhausted my quota yesterday for Ellen
(Gambia-l) yesterday that is why I was not able to respond to this decoy of
a
message.
Before I treat it for you and Gainako, I have some anxiety to dispense
with.
to wit:
1.You had been at pains to share with us that you are oblivious to your
crimes against Haruna and The GDP, yet you continue to "grope in the dark"
to
identify your own crimes. One reason your criminal intent manifests is that
this
note of yours here that I respond to, you had forgotten to change the title
from Yero's title of it that alleges Haruna to be a tribal bigot, and a
pathetic liar to a more appropriate title say: What could Demba have done
to
Haruna. I am confident that was just mere oversight on your part.
Secondarily, you
then proceeded to copy the note to Posten (Gambia-Post) perhaps again in
error but you forgot to ammend the title more appropriately. I would
appreciate
it if you could share with us whether you were indeed in error in that or
did
you have other intent in't. This is very significant because it was done on
the heels of our friends here and elsewhere urging a cessation of my
refutation of Yero's allegations against me.
You see I happen to believe that Yero is just part of a bottom-feeder
eschelon and that the grander plan issues from you and some others. I will
tell you
later how I came to that conclusion. First things first. Please share with
us if it were mere oversight devoid of sinister plan.
2. I am not sure how you identified your and Gainako's crimes as
PLAGIARISM.
Would you share with our friends here and elsewhere, whether you recognize
Haruna identifying your crimes as PLAGIARISM and if that was apparent in
any
culprit note from Haruna, do not forget to share that as material evidence.
This so my friends here and I will not onerously malign you.
I will yield here for now until we hear form you. I do not engage in
debates. As I shared with Saihou Mballow last night when he placed a
friendly call
to me, I am of the opinion you may not debate anyone online. Debates are
meant
for classrooms, boardrooms, and video-conferences. I understand you may not
appreciate this idea yet, suffice it to say Haruna does not do debates
online.
Later my friend. Haruna. MQJGDT. Darbo. Al Mu'Umin.

Folks, as I promised everyone here that I was moving on on this issue, there
is need to respond NOT on the personal attacks but on the issue of
Plagiarism
which I take pretty seriously. It is important to put everything into
perspective so everyone know what Haruna may have a beef with.
In my capacity as the PRO of the GPU-USA I was assigned to draft a press
release prior to August 18th when Fatou's case was due for ruling. I drafted
the press release and on consultation with GPU executive, we agreed to
release the Press Release to the Media when Magistrate Jawo decides on the
case.
Fatou was convicted on August 18, and the GPU press release was revised to
meet the circumstances of the ruling. On August 19, there was a phone
conference conducted by STGDP chaired by Musa Jeng. During that conference
it was agreed that STGDP work with GPU USA to set up a committee to raise
funds for Fatou. I was among those selected to represent the GPU USA on this
committee.
On August 20, the GPU USA press release was released and published by all
Gambian online newspapers. See links below for the publication of the GPU
USA press release.
It was on that assignment and in my role as a GPU representative that I
started to spread the message to many online blogs and forums including the
GambiaL, GambiaPost, Gambia.dk/bantaba etc. Experts of that press release
was what I forwarded to forums. I provided a link to Gainako for readers to
access the press release. I happened to be an associate editor of Gainako
and therefore was more comfortable giving out that link.
On posting to the GambiaL, I happened to accidentally replied to Haruna's
posting which was coincidentally related to his efforts to raise funds for
Fatou. I should have sent a separate email to the list instead of replying
to Haruna's email with a similar topic.
THIS IS THE BEEF I THINK ON THIS TOPIC.
The question now is, given the origin of our press release, my postings to
the forums and the fact that GPU USA press release was written prior
to any fundraising efforts by anybody, where is the Plagiarism that is being
allege here? What material that belongs to Haruna was used? Does an idea of
raising funds for sister Fatou belongs to anyone?
Please see my initial postings to GambiaL at the bottom of this trade.
Thanks for reading...

Friends and Fellow Forumites,
I have been focused on Fatou's case to its unsurprising conclusion. However
I am relieved to share these notes with you. I plead with you to assist
raise the funds needed to repay those good souls who in short notice were able
to come up with the amount of the fine. I echo our friend Pasamba's plea
and enjoin you to send your donations to The GPU, GPU-USA, STGDP, MFWA, or
directly to Fatou or The GDP as you desire and as is convenient for you. Time
is of the essence so that the generous spirits who ensured Fatou's freedom
will not endure further hardship. Thank you one and all.
Aug. 18th 2008. Fatou Jow Manneh convicted by the coop.
Dear Friends,
We at The GDP wish to thank all of you who have graced Fatou's cove and who
have called as a show of solace and support to Fatou. She appreciates every
one of you and has asked us to thank you for her. When she is able, she will
personally thank all of you the soonest.
I want to share with you that Fatou has been blessed with some of the
greatest brothers one could ever hope for. Without their updating me I will not
have been able to share Fatou's plight with you. I therefore personally thank
Mr. Salifu Manneh, Mr. Ousman Manneh, and Mr. Babucarr Manneh. We also thank
Fatou's chief counsel Mr. Lamin Jobarteh and Mr. Lamin Camara as well as
the most compassionate Hon. Barry Wells, US Ambassador to Gambia. We are all
proud of you.
Magistrate Buba Jawo opined that Yahya brought a lot of development to
Gambia and that the words alleged to have been shared with AllGambian.net
newspaper risked inciting riots and disorder. My friends you must be thinking what
I'm thinking.
1. Magistrate Jawo had therefore concluded, prosecution's delinquency in
this area notwithstanding, that the words Fatou was alleged to have spoken (The
interview was never authenticated) in the interview amounted to seditious
speech and revealed INTENT for sedition. He lied and understandably
was afraid for his life and or job.
2. By his assertion that Yahya brought development to Gambia and therefore
is immune to criticism, and unawares, magistrate Jawo had certified what we
have been sharing with you all along; that the case was Fatou V.Yahya and not
one of State V. Fatou. There is a subtle but substantial difference
between the two styles. It means that there was no case of State V. Fatou
as offered by the prosecution and therefore it should have been thrown out
summarily.
3. If magistrate Jawo realised and was confident that Yahya did indeed
bring all this development to Gambia, would it not defy logic then that the
words of a lowly journalist to the contrary would be capable of INCITING riots
and disorder??????? Or is it that the learned magistrate was lying again
about the premise of his ruling???
Nevertheless friends, the kangaroo court headed by a slave of a magistrate
has done the dirty deed. We are pleased that our other friends on the ground
in Gambia assisted by other good samaritan citizens and non-citizens alike,
were able to come up with the ridiculously exhorbitant fine of $12,500.00
within an equally ridiculous time frame of 11/2 hours. Our task now my
friends is to raise that amount in the quickest way possible to repay the
generous souls, some of whom had used their daily bread's worth to ascertain
Fatou's freedom. Any amount will be appreciated and can be mailed to:
The GDP (Fatou Jow Manneh Fund)
P.O. Box 775
Lithia Springs, GA 30122
Please note if you wish to remain anonymous.
We thank you all and may God Bless you and yours.

not use profane language. I think because both Yero and Demba (and by
extension Gainako) have all shared with us that they do not know how or where they
have offended Haruna or The GDP, you will grant me an opportunity to at least
share that because there is enormous education for our friends and it may
afford caution for future contemplated aversion.
Thanx and I acknowledge your discomfort. Haruna. MQJGDT. Darbo.
