Hi! I didn't get too many replies. I had gotten antsy and found a review of a restaurant offering an annotated menu clearly labeling what was gluten free (GF).

The restaurant is called Spice of India. They are located at 125 Main Street in Nyack. I was extremely pleased with the restaurant and the knowledgeable owner, Laurie, who made suggestions for us. I highly recommend the place. Laurie even made suggestions for my friends GF/CF son, who was not there, for next time.

In the meantime, I received an excellent recommendation from a fellow listserv member. Thank you so very much! O'Donoghue's Tavern at 66 Main Street in Nyack. O'D's, a pub, has been extremely accommodating. The chef's name is Phil. If you bring your own pasta, Phil will cook it up in fresh water. "They do nachos at OD's for my son, the Shepard's pie (with a potato crust that is really good), and they have a lot of naturally GF things like a real comfort food dish of roast chicken with garlic mashed potatoes and broccoli". OD's sounds very gf-friendly, and I can't wait to try it myself. Thanks again!
