As usual I got a good lot of responses from this group, and thanks everybody
for contribuating.
About half people confirmed that they could drink whyskey or Bourbon without
problem and that indeed if it was distilled it was GF.
Quite a few people mentioned that some of the mesh was reintroduced into the
final process to ad color and flavor, and that would make the final result
NOT GF.
Some other people said that if you are extra sensitive you might even have
problems with good quality distilled products that have not been made wish
the mesh added.
So all in all not a clear response, and you should probably try to contact
the manufacturer of the brand you like and find out about this mesh issue,
or try it and see what happen.
Of course you can stick with Rum, Tequila, Brandy, Gin, there are many
choices out there that are made without primary ingrediants containing Gluten.
