What I've played with 900 here, it isn't nearly as good as 440.  Much more 
easily blocked by buildings and such and very unpredictable as far as 
coverage.  Also very fluttery as it has a much shorter wave length.  One 
problem is it takes a totally separate radio.  Kind of like 220.
