Janice,
This is a very good explanation. Thank you. The list page is 
http://listserv.icors.org/archives/paleofood.html which I see you 
corrected as I am writing this. The list is public which means anyone 
can read the archives without a password being required. If a subscriber 
without a listserv password makes changes to their account, listserv 
will send a confirmation email to the subscriber's email address. The 
subscriber will need  to reply to this message with OK as the first word 
in the reply before the change takes effect. There is a code in the 
subject line which identifies the request.

I changed your setting. You should have been sent a confirmation message 
by listserv but I may have not checked the box.
