Hi John,

Yes, I was aware of that for the K2.  I don't know about it's functionality
with the K3.  I also wonder if I would have to give up the use of the com
port for radio control from my logging program in order to use the KRC2?  If
this is the case, I wouldn't even consider it since I like this capability.
I also feel strongly that if I am shelling out $3,000 for a radio, I
shouldn't have to surrender functionality in my station to have it.  <GRIN>

Hi Kevin,

As you probably know, Elecraft has a version of firmware for their KRC 2
remote control box which provides cw output for just about all of the k 2's
functions.  This box plugs in to the radios serial port, and I wonder if it
also works with the k 3?
