Gary,
What frequency are you trying to save, and which receiver are you using?
This isn't an issue if the frequency is within the ham bands, but if not,
there are frequencies which will only work with one or the other radio. For
example, if you want to store a frequency between 118 and 136 MHz, you have
to use the A radio.
