Tom,

Press the key you want to use for recording (the 1, for example) until you 
hear "BT" in CW.  Then, let go of the button.  Then press it again and speak 
into the mic while holding the button down.  When you're finished, let go of 
the button.  You will hear a low beep.  Wait a few seconds while your 
recording is stored.  Then, press the button again and listen to your golden 
tones.  Incidentally, you can set the repeat interval for playback with Menu 
32.  Let me know how this works.
