Well, Steve, my description admittedly wasn't the greatest, but it was
the best I could do off the top of my head.
The NMO connection style of mobile antenna was first recommended to me when
I did my first mobile antenna installation for VHF/UHF about 10 years ago,
so that's where I learned about the term.
I suspect that others on the list can do a much better job of describing the
NMO mounting system than I can.
