Tom,
I have a couple of Minimus 3 speakers from Radio Shack that I use here.
They're certainly adequate sonically, and they're quite small (about 4
inches high, 2 inches wide, and 2 inches deep). They may not be made any
more, but I'm sure you can find some reasonable equivalents at the shack.
You might consider a slightly larger speaker if good sound is your goal.
