I too was going to suggest the Sanjean DT200. I have the older model that 
does not cover the wx band. I use it mainly for a travel radio, and 
occasionally for late night listening in bed. The internal speaker is what 
you would expect for a shirt pocket size radio, but it sounds amazingly good 
with a good pair of headphones.

You might also find something suitable at Target or Wal-mart. It's been 
awhile since I looked closely at them, but both of these stores carry some 
generic low end am/fm units that work pretty well.

None of the small ones will perform like the GE Superadio 2, but some of 
them do surprisingly well.
