Hi Richard and all:
A friend of mine has the SteppIr vertical with the 80M addition.
Over the years, he has used most of the commercial verticals, but finds this
the easiest to use.
As a precaution he does guy it - as I do with my Butternut and R8 - in
different locations.

No I don't have one but its on my short list of antennas for the spring. My 
only concerns would be durability.  I am getting some mixed messages as to 
how self supporting it is.  Are you considering the 80 meter coil?  Sounds a

bit pricey but it would really let you cover the entire band.
I was also pondering force 12 but sounds like you end up having to put up 
two verticals to cover 80 through 10.
