    Howard:

You can still control the functions of the TS480 with the control head, 
though, can't you?

I'm thinking of things like programming, menu settings, tuning, frequency 
read-out, etc.?

I'm thinking about this because the actual radio may be placed in a more 
"out of the way" spot in the motor home.
