Hi.

The reality check here is that several people have commented that both 
Kenwoods have better TX audio than the Icom 706 and I got along ok with 
that for several years.  I think that both choices are good ones, and if it 
weren't for the poor accessibility, even the Icom 706 wouldn't be that 
bad.  I probably wouldn't have jumped ship on the 706 if they had just made 
the PL tones a little easier to set.  That was the final straw that 
convinced me to take the plunge for the TS2000S.
