I actually thought of that.

But, since the TS480 will be located back in the dining room area of the 
motor home, I probably will need to run it off of a power supply of some 
sort.

Then, I'm defeating my portability, since I'd need a much bigger supply for 
the 200-watt unit.

I probably won't do HF while truly mobile, simply because of antenna height 
considerations.
