Thanks Steve,  I am comparing the cobra with the alpha delta now to make
some decision.  I would rather keep the antenna cheep as I really need
to replace the telescoping mast I lost 5 years ago to a microburst.  The
price of those things has gone through the roof or I am getting more
Scotch as I age.

I have one, and like it very much.  Mine plays best on 40 and 75.  On
those bands, I usually get the same signal report I give out.  I haven't
tried the antenna on 160, and it doesn't seem to work quite as well on
20 and above. 
Then again, it might work better if I could raise the center up to 50
feet. 
Still, it doesn't do badly, and it took about an hour to put up.  It's
just strung between two trees about 20 feet off the ground with no
support in the center.  That's not quite the way they tell you to run
it, so I can't complain about its performance.
