I got my public service channels from another ham here with the same
radio.  This sometimes works better than the listings you can buy from
Radio Shack as it can be more complete.  With that loaded, you just put
the radio in scan and listen.  Yes time is   so short for radio these
days.

    Yes I can group channles in memory.  Have a TH-F6A.  So what do you
do, just set the radio to scna and wait for traffic on a given band?  I
need to set some time aside and just play around.
