I hear it's not the advertised 100 feet anyway, I know 2 people who say it's 
only about 79 feet and you can go back a ways with out hurting anything. 
that would be my problem too unless I ran the ladder line right in to the 
house but I'd rather not. Not more than the attic anyway. I don't think I 
could ever use 100 feet of line outside or even mostly outside, maybe 60 or 
70 is about it at most unless I can get a lot higher in that tree than I 
think.
