The bands haven't been all that bad.  15 was wild this past weekend due to 
the contest and I was happy to work 1A3A for an all time new one for me. 
Also a nice opening to South America and the Carrib. on 10.  Hopefully 
things will only get better.

As for 160, the 80 meter Windom I put up  early last summer  worked  fine on 
the bands it's designed for, but  is very poor on 160.  I'll drop it  this 
week and  reinstall my shortened 160, 80, 40 dipole from Hypower antennas.

  124 ft. long Less than 25 ft. high at one end and less than 40 at the 
other.   Fed with 150 ft. of low loss coax.   I've been very pleased.  47 
states and 25 DXCC  over the past 3 seasons with 100 watts.

Similar in design to antennas made by Alpha Delta and others.    There are 
even shorter ones than the 124 ft. I'm using, if length is a problem.
