Hi Tom;
I didn't keep the info but I recently saw a posting for a watch that was
both a Braille watch and also had speech. If I were not in the middle of
moving I would have investigated further. Although this watch doesn't have
the annoying chime when you check the time, I find the speech sometimes hard
to understand.
I rather liked the radio shack watch and although it did go through
batteries, there is always a radio shack somewhere to get another. The four
alarms were nice and the speech seemed clearer.
Richard

    Richard:

The thing that gets me is that the folks at Maxiaids don't have a clue as to
how to solve the problem.

They say the watch is made for them by some overseas company, and they don't
know how to help us.

I've been tempted to take the battery out, and see if things somehow re-set
themselves, but I'm reluctant to do that, since I may damage something
getting the battery in and out, and our local jeweler won't touch it.

If you want to, just for kicks, give maxi-aids a call. They need to know
that more than just I have this problem.
