Hi Someone said that their isn't a base or mobile rig which
covers 220.

Not strictly correct.

This depends on the programming of the rig.
My tmg707a will cover the maritime bands and 220.

It was re-programmed by a friend who is in
telecommunications.

The additional bands are receive only.

As I speak, I am listening to maritime channel 16 to the
coastguard information.
