Hi Richard,
Thanks for your helpful comments.

I've already got a Kenwood TS7A. May not have the right number nomeclature 
here but it's the rig that has 2 meters and 440 on it plus the speech board.

If I get a 480 I'll have six meters that I've never had before.

I'm also going have to train myself again to use the 7a. Mostly use my 
Kenwood f6a HT.
