I've read on a website recently sited here, that physicians are always
supposed to check adrenal functioning BEFORE they prescribe any thyroid
medication. This floors me. How can physicians get away with that? What is the normal
procedure once Synthroid or other med has been used (to no avail) for a
number of years?
