I read one time on a Mayo Clinic website (I don't have the link anymore), a
discussion that made sense to me. They said that maybe an autoimmune problem
isn't an strong and overactive immune system, but a tired confused one.
I suspect strengthening your immunes system would be a good thing. Also be
aware that sometimes antibodies go away when taking thyroid meds or
hydrocortisone for low adrenals. Perhaps, because those meds increase the energy. Also,
I think www.thyroidmanager.org says that in 25% of Hashi's cases, and I think
that's even untreated, the antibodies eventually go into remission. Which
means it may not be a problem for life
