This reminds me of a poem I wrote in my twenties and, as it's short, I
actually remember it.
It says:
"Change me Lord,
Not my situation,
Change my will, change my mind;
Take me, Lord,
Not my tribulation -
Till I find
I am Yours for endless days
To love you and to sing Your praise.!"
I really meant it!
