Thanks for filling us in, Matt. Your pastor has a good point. Reading one
book over and over is a good idea because every time you read it you'll
discover something new. And the Gospel of John is a great one to start that
practice with. You might want to use this as an opportunity for Scripture
memorization, too. Read one chapter, then pick one verse out of that
chapter and try to memorize it. I stink at that. Smile. But it's still a
good idea. Smile.
As I think I mentioned a while back I've read the Bible from cover to cover
several times over the years and every time there is something I never saw
before. The Holy Spirit always shows something or relates a verse that
didn't seem to mean anything before to a specific situation in your life.
It's wonderful.
Hope you have found your church home in a place of trusted friends who, like

wonderful knowledge of JESUS and His Word.
