There is a phone called the Oasis, and the nokia 60 series of phones can be
combined with a screen reader called talx. Through these phones and this
screen reader text messages can be recieved and sent to the blind person's
cell phone. Just thought you would like to know. Also, if you have texting
enabled you can use a service called teleflip, I think that is it's name and
send a text message from your computer to the blind person's cell phone.
