U agree with you guys.  I would've loved to had public service on my resume.

well if you get castigated, i'll go with you. i think
if one objects to the military service on moral or
religious reasons then there are other ways to serve.
then even thouse who are disabled in some ways might
still have an avenue to serve the country. 

the extended tours are hard on the men and women that
serve, but, then again there are a few that volunteer
for extra tours. 

i find your post to be very logical.
