Have you tried rinsing your mouth thoroughly with water after eating
fruit? That will help protect your teeth. It would also be a test for
the source of the bad breath.
Not tested; just something I have heard.

I have decreased the amount of fruit to one piece a day and the problem
seems to have resolved (confirmed by my partner - who is relieved!). Has
anyone else experienced or heard of this?
