  Yes it will, but personally, I would take the augmentin.  A decayed tooth and a sinus infection is a double whammy.  Your CRP levels are probably way up. I would also make sure to take some probiotics with the antibiotic.  We have miserable strains of bacteria and virus these days. We need help fighting it off once in a while.
