Aaaah, but we're in Idaho. The Assistive Technology team out of Moscow, which has been supportive of developing technology skills in my son, with the goal of preparing him for a speech device, suddenly about-faced last week and said he couldn't possibly use one (even though he used the Tango just fine). Can anyone say "the economy"? I bet if voice recognition software/hardware is expensive, the asst. tech team will "decide" it's not in Mary's "best interests."
John,
mayer-johnson.com has WordQ and SpeakQ for Windows. Is this the kind of thing you mean?
Virginia (also in Idaho)
