By 6:00 last night the House had voted to over-ride GWB's bill by a
ratio of 6-1.  Wide support from both sides of the aisle.  The senate
will kill it and it will nail another coffin into the Bush legacy.  I'm
no liberal, but this legislation the administration concocted is
wa-a-a-y over the top for most conservatives.  We need to take care of
our own when they can't care for themselves.

i think that i heard today  that congress had blocked these changes, but
i may be wrong.
