when i was a teenager the local crippled children's society, (aka easter seals) had a class in karate for us. up to ten years ago, I could still throw somebody over my shoulder if i was seated.

resources for self-defense courses for people with disabilities is at rehab.

if it was a stroke), I got sent to Craig Rehab in Denver, which had just
started a brain injury program, and I enrolled in a self-defense course
there.
