My mother-in-law did that to us once. It was about 4:00 AM, and our caller
ID announced Dan's mom's cell number. Dan's late father wasn't doing well
physically, so of course we thought the worst. But when Dan picked up the
phone, no one was there. As we found out later, Dan's parents were on
vacation and in their hotel room, and Dan's mom reached into her purse for
some candy and was sharing it with Dan's dad, and apparently hit the re-dial
button on her cell phone, and we had been the last number she called.
