Hi all!

this afternoon at Daybreak, we women would have gone to a doughnut shop, but 
we learned it closes at 1 p.m.  So some of the workers surprised us by 
taking us on a nice ride out to a park by a man-made lake.  there we sat 
down at picnic table and had 1 or 2 doughnuts, plus a nice cold pop!  In a 
way, I'd say that beats going to the shop, 'cause we usually only get one 
thing, a drink or maybe something to eat.  Also the weather was cooler and 
there was a strong breeze.

Another good thing is that my phone was fixed, after a weekend of mostly 
static crackling noises.  I was told that gophers may have messed up the 
line, but I didn't understand exactly what it was like.  Anyway, I'm back in 
business.

And I'm looking forward to my birthday tomorrow!
