I never said you should be forced to read anything.  I don't think an 
intelligent discussion can be held concerning these books if those having 
the discussion have not even read the books.  This is why I don't discuss 
Harry Potter as I have not even read the books nor do I care to.  I think 
you would think differently if I were to say one should not discuss the 
positive verses negative attributes of what the bible has to say if one has 
not read the book.  I think you would lbe one of the first to say you would 
not even begin a discussion with someone who has not read the bible first, 
or at least the parts concerning which the discussion raises.  You would 
probably be the first to put the bible in the hands of the person attempting 
the discussion and say read then we will discuss.
