Kabir,
While Islam's story sounds plausible, I wonder if police had checked out his alibi since he claimed to have been at home on that fateful day. The cold-blooded murder of Malcolm X highlighted the cancer that has been tragically referred to as black-on-black violence.
One has to read his autobiography (as narrated to Alex Haley) in order to fully understand how Malcolm had lifted himself up from obscurity to become such a great thinker of his era.
Momodou.
