Sharon,
    I will pray for your friend as I know how diabetes can effect the eye 
vessels.  My dad's eye sight is getting worse and my grandma lost her sight 
before she died do to it.  It's so sad.  You never know hopefully they can 
help your friend.  I pray the Lord's will be done in this situation.
