hi all,
Before I was diagnosed with Celiac Disease, I thought it was the tomatoes in
pizza that was making me sick. Silly me! But new evidence shows that I still
can't tolerate tomatoes. My boyfriend's grandma keeps inviting me over for
dinner and all she'll make is Italian food. I told her I'll supply the (GF)
pasta and other ingredients (including the food strainer!) to make the meal
a success...but I can't think of an alternative to tomato sauce in lasagna,
spaghetti and meatballs, etc. Any suggestions?
I thought I saw a supplement similar to Beano and Lactaid that would help
people "tolerate" tomatoes, so if you can recommend a product out there (and
where to find it), please share the info.
Thanks!
-Lisa
