Has anyone experienced improvement in energy and mental functioning...after switching from synthroid to Armour Thyroid. ....I wonder how often Armour is tried in its stead, and with what results.
Dear Edith,
I switched from Synthroid to Armour as well, because I could no longer function. I felt much better almost immediately.
Now, however, function is decreasing again. I am tired all the time, so that it's a struggle to move around, yet I can't sleep at night. My vision is decreasing (this letter is being written at 200% magnification). My hair still resembles a gentle rainfall as it leaves my head and I have leg pains like crazy, to the point that it feels more like a sprain or a break.
I wish I knew what the answer was. My doctor says I'm a little hyperthyroid now, with persistent anemia.
Laurie
